Mamata is an Associate Research Fellow at TARINA-CoE. She has over 14 years of experience in the field of development focusing largely on nutrition and public health. A doctorate from the University of East Anglia, UK, her research brings in innovative ideas in understanding the demand side attributes of the social protection program. She has worked in various international organizations over the last decade with work portfolio focused on multi-sectoral projects on issues of nutrition security in India. She has also worked as a journalist with a leading financial daily and a general interest newspaper in India. Mamata is a key contributor in designing and managing TARINA-CoE driven research programs.
