Priyanka Singh is an Assistant Program Officer for TCI-TARINA Center of Excellence. She holds a master’s degree in Food & Nutrition with a specialization in Public Health Nutrition from the University of Delhi. During her master’s she was awarded the Best Student and Best Dissertation Award in her Master’s program. She has over 5 years of multisectoral work experience ranging from academic research projects to food industry and facilitating policy and regulatory reforms. Prior to TCI, she worked at NITI (National Institution for Transforming India) Aayog, the Government of India policy think-tank. At NITI, she provided technical support to key Health and Nutrition projects including Govt. of India’s POSHAN Abhiyaaan and Transformation of Aspirational Districts Programme and facilitated some reforms and interventions particularly in inclusion of Nutri-Cereals (Millets) in Govt.’s safety net schemes, under the leadership of senior Government officers. Her interest lies in promoting a sustainable and diversified food system to achieve desirable food and nutrition security at all dynamics of the ecosystem.
